The BCE partner network continues to grow, and we are thrilled to welcome UP Basketball as a new sponsor! Their commitment to youth development, confidence-building, and community connection perfectly aligns with our shared belief that local partnerships help create meaningful opportunities for our students.
Meet UP Basketball
Packie and Bianca Turner are the founders and owners of Unlimited Potential Basketball (UPBasketball), which was created in 2016 with a simple mission: to help young athletes grow both on and off the court. Coach Packie grew up playing varsity basketball at Fort Bragg High School before continuing his basketball career at Holy Names University in Oakland, where he earned his degree in Sport Management. Bianca, a graduate of Santa Clara University with a degree in Marketing, brought her business expertise and passion for youth development to help bring the UPBasketball vision to life.

Together, Packie and Bianca built UPBasketball from the ground up. Within their first year, they opened the UPBasketball Training Facility in Burlingame, creating a space where athletes of all ages can learn, grow, and challenge themselves. This year marks an exciting milestone: 10 years of UPBasketball!
What do you love the most about Burlingame?
What we value most about the Burlingame community is the incredible support and encouragement that parents and teachers provide to children — both inside and outside the classroom. From academics to sports and extracurricular activities, the community truly invests in helping young people thrive.

We hope to be a trusted resource for local families, helping kids develop discipline, confidence, resilience, and a strong work ethic during some of the most important years of their lives.
Why did you choose to support BCE?
Today, we are raising our three daughters in Burlingame and are proud to be part of this community. Our passion extends far beyond basketball, we are committed to helping young athletes build confidence, leadership skills, and life lessons that go beyond the game. Programs like music, performing arts, world languages, and PE give students the opportunity to express themselves, build confidence, develop discipline, and connect with others.

"We are so excited to be a part of the Burlingame community and to sponsor BCE. We look forward to working with kids who like to challenge themselves and get better every day.”

“As a local organization focused on youth development, we are proud to support BCE’s mission to provide these valuable experiences for every student in the Burlingame community" Bianca Turner, CEO of UP Basketball.
A message for Burlingame students and teachers
To the students of Burlingame: Believe in yourselves, embrace new challenges, and never be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Whether you are learning in the classroom, performing on stage, competing in sports, or discovering a new passion, every experience is an opportunity to grow.
To the teachers: Thank you for the dedication, encouragement, and positive influence you bring to your students every day. The confidence, curiosity, and resilience you help nurture create an impact that extends far beyond the classroom. We are grateful for all that you do to inspire the next generation.
