A local orthodontist, independent business owner, and proud Hoover Elementary mom, Dr. Lee is passionate about helping families smile while giving back to the community she calls home. Since opening Burlingame Smile Studio in 2015, Dr. Lee has combined personalized orthodontic care with a strong commitment to Burlingame families. Now, she is extending that commitment to support the programs that make Burlingame public schools such a special place to learn and grow.

Tell us about your business
"I have been practicing orthodontics in the Bay Area since 2008. After graduating from UCSF and USC, I proudly opened Burlingame Smile Studio here in town in 2015. As a standalone, truly private practice, we offer a dedicated, single-doctor approach to orthodontic care. I specialize in customized treatment, providing advanced braces and Invisalign for both children and adults. Because we are completely independent, our patients love that they see me, their actual orthodontist at every single visit!
What do you like most about the Burlingame community?
"What I love most about Burlingame is how deeply interconnected and supportive we are. As a local resident, business owner, and mom to a third grader at Hoover Elementary, I see this community from all angles. The families who trust me with their smiles are the same neighbors I see at school drop-offs, sports games, and community events. Why do you support BCE?
As a parent with a child directly benefiting from Burlingame public schools, supporting the Burlingame Community Education Foundation (BCE) is incredibly personal to me. Programs like music, performing arts, world languages, and physical education are vital to a well-rounded education. They build confidence, spark creativity, and keep our kids active. I want to support the school district that teaches my own child, as well as the wonderful families and children who come to me for their orthodontic care.
What message would you like to send to our Burlingame students, teachers ?
To our amazing teachers: Thank you for your tireless dedication, patience, and passion. You are shaping the hearts and minds of our children every single day, and our community is infinitely better because of you.
To our students: Keep smiling, stay curious, and don't be afraid to try new things—whether that's picking up an instrument, learning a new language, or trying a new sport. Your potential is limitless, and the whole community is rooting for you! And also... don't forget to brush, floss, and wear your aligners or retainers!

At Burlingame Smile Studio, we treat our patients like family! As a solo practitioner, I provide individualized, one-on-one attention to every patient at every visit.
We use advanced, goop-free 3D digital scanners, and I am proud to be a Diamond Top 1% Invisalign Provider. My team is incredibly talented and dedicated, and every single member is a mom, too! We truly understand the busy schedules of local parents and work hard to make every visit as seamless as possible. Some of our wonderful team members have even been with me since we first opened in 2015!
And we have a secret weapon: our office mascot, Teddy, a lovable labradoodle who is always ready to offer patients extra love and pets!
