BCE is excited to welcome longtime BCE supporters, the Caccia family, and their new business venture The Caccia Group, to our Business Partner Program! The Caccia family has been a generous and passionate supporter of Burlingame public schools for many years. Now, with their focus on commercial real estate, Susan and Geno Caccia are bringing that same community commitment to their venture and joining BCE’s Business Partner network.

Meredith Dunn, BCE's Executive Director shares: "The Caccias' dedication to Burlingame schools has always been about investing in the community and helping create opportunities for the next generation. We’re thrilled that their support of BCE programs is continuing as they scale their new business." Hear directly from Susan in our interview as she shares more about the Caccia Group, their new venture, and why supporting Burlingame schools continues to be so important to their family.

Meet Susan Caccia

"My name is Susan Caccia, and I am a Commercial Real Estate Advisor with The Caccia Group. Our family has deep roots in the Peninsula, and our business has been built around relationships, local knowledge, and a genuine commitment to the communities we serve.

I work with business owners, property owners, investors, and families on commercial real estate leasing, sales, acquisitions, and investment strategy throughout the Greater Bay Area and beyond. Through our network, we can also help clients identify investment opportunities across the country.

For us, real estate is about much more than just the transaction. It is about helping people make thoughtful decisions that support their businesses, their families, and their long-term financial goals."

What do you love the most about Burlingame?

"What I love most about Burlingame is the strong sense of community. It has the warmth of a small town while also being incredibly dynamic and entrepreneurial. In Burlingame, we care about shopping local, volunteering in our schools and looking out for one another. There is a wonderful connection between our families, schools, businesses, and civic organizations. That spirit of involvement is part of what makes Burlingame such a special place to live."

Why do you support BCE?

We have been supporters of BCE in many different ways in the past and we are excited to continue our relationship with the organization through its Partner Program.

BCE provides opportunities and resources, such as art, music, health and wellness, world languages, and online math curriculum, that enrich our students’ educational experience beyond what government funding alone can provide. As a local business, we also believe we have a responsibility to give back to the community that supports us. Sponsoring BCE is one meaningful way we can do that."

"My husband Geno Caccia and I support BCE because we believe strong schools are fundamental to building a strong community".

What message would you like to send to our Burlingame students, teachers ?

To our students:  "AI will probably become one of the most powerful tools of your generation. It may help you research faster, create new businesses, solve problems, and discover opportunities we cannot even imagine today. hope you know that nothing can replace being a good human.

Be kind when you do not have to be. Keep your word. Help someone who needs it. Learn how to have difficult conversations. Develop empathy and build real relationships. Stay curious and don't always take the easy route.  Your intelligence will matter. Your ability to use technology will matter. But your character will always matter most."

To our teachers: "The time, energy, creativity, and care you invest in our children has an impact that extends far beyond the classroom. What you teach today helps shape the leaders, entrepreneurs, neighbors, parents, and community members of tomorrow."

Tell us more about The Caccia Group

"I would love our community to know that The Caccia Group is a resource for much more than buying or selling real estate. We take a highly personal, strategic approach to helping our clients think about real estate.  Our work is rooted in understanding the individual goals behind every real estate investment decision. Sometimes the best opportunity is right here on the Peninsula, and sometimes it is elsewhere in California or across the country. We help clients look at the bigger picture and find opportunities that make sense for their immediate needs and long-term goals.

Above all, we want to be a trusted real estate resource for our community. Even if someone simply has a question or wants a second opinion, we are always happy to be a sounding board."
