Our community of business partners continues to grow, and we’re thrilled to introduce the newest member! Based in the heart of Burlingame, Nhieu Warner has been a proud resident since 2014. She works with real estate investors, first time home buyers, sellers, residential and commercial real estate clients, international buyers, and off-market sellers. A mother of three, Abby (second grade at McKinley Dual Immersion), Beck (eighth grade at BIS), and Ellie (11th grade at BHS), Nhieu has experienced the benefits of the Burlingame School District every step of the way.

What do you like about Burlingame?
There are so many things I love about Burlingame, but what stands out the most to me is how genuinely caring and welcoming everyone is. It’s the kind of place where neighbors look out for one another and where you’re always greeted by a familiar face, whether you’re walking downtown, at a school event, or cheering at a local game.

People take the time to connect, to check in,
and to support each other’s families. That sense of belonging and trust makes Burlingame feel not just like a town, but like a true community. As a family, we cherish it every day, and I feel grateful to work with other families who are also looking to enjoy everything this wonderful community has to offer.
How are you involved in the community?
I am proud to be a BCE Business Sponsor and a supporter of the McKinley Harvest Festival. I also care deeply about the LGBTQ+ community and am honored to sponsor various Pride parades and events that celebrate inclusion and diversity.
Why are you supporting BCE?
All three of my kids have benefited greatly from the Spanish Immersion program. I also believe deeply in the value of music education, not only because studies show it supports learning in subjects like physics and math, but also because it’s wonderful for mental well-being. Staying physically active is equally important. Growing up in poverty, I didn’t have many opportunities to play outside, so PE classes were my only form of exercise. That’s why I truly appreciate how our schools prioritize both the arts and physical education, they make such a difference in children’s lives.
"None of these programs would be possible without BCE and the incredible generosity of its donors and sponsors, whose support helps create these enriching opportunities for all students."—Nhieu Warner, eXP Realty
An inspiring journey toward generosity
I was born in a small village where my father delivered me in a chicken coop due to the lack of healthcare, and during our journey as political refugees, my sister was kidnapped. Those early experiences shaped my deep gratitude for the freedom and safety I now have to raise my own children in such an accepting community. I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to give back through my work as an agent, not only by helping my clients, but also by supporting causes that are close to my heart. Growing up in severe poverty, I never imagined I would one day be in a position to make this kind of difference.
What message would you like to send to our Burlingame school teachers?
I began my career as a public school teacher before moving into real estate investing in 2003. Having been a teacher myself, I have a deep appreciation for the dedication and hard work that teachers give every single day. Even now, when I find myself working late nights or on holidays to support my clients, I often think back to my teaching days and I know that being a teacher is an even tougher, more demanding job. So I would say to everyone: "Always take a moment to thank your teachers! They truly make a difference!"
