Born and raised on the Peninsula and a proud UC Davis Aggie, Davina is a California girl through and through. She graduated with a degree in Managerial Economics, fully embracing her identity as a “math person.” But life had other (more creative) plans. She jumped into the world of digital media just as online video was taking off. Fun fact: her team helped launch the very first preroll ad on the internet—for Microsoft. (You’re welcome. Also… sorry.)

Throughout her career in digital marketing—whether at global agencies or scrappy start-ups—Davina often found herself with an unofficial second title: Fun Commissioner. She loved bringing people together and soon realized that event planning wasn’t just a hobby—it was a calling. After moving from San Francisco to Burlingame and trading spreadsheets for sippy cups, she never lost her passion for building community.

Volunteering became her creative outlet, and she quickly found joy (and a bit of a superpower) in planning events. From serving as preschool board president to chairing school galas, Davina has always loved turning simple ideas into memorable experiences. She even once planned a BCE gala… but let’s just say 2020 had other plans for that soirée.

Now, as Vice President of Events, Davina is excited to bring her creativity, energy, and love for community to Burlingame. She truly believes that when we come together to celebrate, connect, and support our schools, we create something magical. And she’s here for all of it.
