Daphne Howe
Co-Washington Site Director
Daphne and her husband Jordan have been in the Bay Area since 2014, first residing in San Francisco before moving to Burlingame in 2017 after their daughter was born. Looking for more space and wanting a good school district, they fell in love with Burlingame and loved its proximity to the airport for work travel. Currently residing in Burlingame Park, they love their neighborhood
Currently a stay at home mom, Daphne was a long time product developer in the beauty industry, working to develop cosmetics, skin care, fragrances etc. After motherhood, she served on the board of Little Wonders (a small playschool in San Mateo) for publicity for 2 years. When her eldest started at Washington School, she sough volunteering opportunities and decided to join Washington Elementary's PTA board as well as the BCE Board.
Busy with two kids - Penelope is in 3rd grade and Spencer is in first grade, both at Washington Elementary. Daphne's husband Jordan is a partner at the management consulting firm and they have a one year old Chow Chow, named Max.
Daphne wanted to get involved with BCE after seeing the impact BCE has on Burlingame schools. She's excited about educating our school community about how much BCE does for our kids. The impact of BCE Funds on our schools is crucial for our kids. Daphne is passionate about supporting our public schools and feels this is her way to contribute back.
A huge animal lover and a foodie, Daphne loves to cook and eat. She's also obsessed with skincare, and indulges in fashion and interior design occasionally.
