Gauri has proudly called Burlingame home for the past nine years, where she lives with her husband, Nik, and their two children, Dilan (12) and Keya (9), who attend Burlingame Intermediate School and Roosevelt Elementary School. Having both attended public schools themselves, Gauri and Nik were drawn to Burlingame for its outstanding schools and strong sense of community.

Committed to giving back, Gauri has chosen to serve as a site director for Burlingame Community Education, where she hopes to help foster community partnerships and support programs that enrich our students’ educational experiences.

Professionally, Gauri is a physician specializing in medical oncology/hematology. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family through busy sports schedules, travel, and caring for their newest family member, a beloved Bernedoodle.
