Ruchika moved from San Francisco to Burlingame eight years ago, two weeks after becoming a new mom. "I've had the fortune of raising children with all Burlingame has to offer, from music classes at Parks & Rec, to regular trips to the library, to the wonderful community events like Burlingame on the Ave. Burlingame has provided the most wonderful family living experience we could have asked for."   

In her professional life, Ruchika works with eCommerce and retail tech. She has two children. Julian is in the second grade, and Serena has started kindergarten, both at Lincoln.

"I really wanted to participate and contribute to the experience my children have while they progress through the school system," she said. She added that, "being a part of Burlingame's public school community has continued to foster our love for this town. It's so fun to volunteer with people from all schools across Burlingame!"
