Meet

Pamela Ongchin

Co-Lincoln Site Director

Pam and her family moved to Burlingame in 2019, just before the pandemic. Her youngest was born not long after we arrived, so it really felt like the start of a new chapter for their family. While not from the Bay Area, they loved Burlingame right away. The charming downtown, great schools and beautiful parks made it easy to see this was a community they wanted to be part of.

Pam will have 3 kids at Lincoln this year- a 4th grader, 1st grader, and TKer. She wanted to join the BCE board to be part of something bigger than just what happened in her child’s classroom. BCE helps keep class sizes smaller, brings music and language into our kids’ school days, and funds extras that make a huge difference in how our kids experience school. Pam cares deeply about our Burlingame schools and want to help more families understand how important this funding is to keeping our schools strong.

Outside of BCE, Pam is an entrepreneur focused on building software and also serves on the board of the Epilepsy Foundation of Northern California. She loves reading, karaoke, tennis, piano, guitar, bikram yoga, and pilates and once ran a full marathon after having only run a max of 12 miles during training (not recommended!)

Be sure to say hello to Pam when you see her on campus!
