A Bay Area native, Sharon holds a B.A. in Communications and International Affairs from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with a Certificate in the Study and Practice of Leadership. She found her calling in nonprofit work early on and went on to become a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving through the American Institute for Philanthropic Studies.

For a majority of her career, Sharon has served as Director of Planned Giving and currently works as a fundraising consultant, helping nonprofits build sustainable giving programs and lasting legacies. She is driven by the belief that every gift tells a story and every donor has a legacy to leave.

Sharon and her husband have two sons at BIS, both proud alumni of Franklin Elementary. With five years on the Franklin PTA Board and her husband’s involvement with the Dad’s Club, Sharon is proud to give back to the community that has supported her family. She is honored to serve on the BCE Board.
