You want to participate, but don’t like to run? You can still show your Spirit and support by signing up to VOLUNTEER. It’s a great way to kick off the new school year and enjoy the event without the sweat!
What is the Burlingame Spirit Run? It’s a 10K and 5K run/walk, followed by a health expo, a Kids Fun Run for children 5 and under, pancake breakfast, and games and activities suitable for all ages!
Why should I participate? Proceeds from the event go to support the Burlingame Community Education (BCE) Foundation, which raises money to support Burlingame public school education.
When is it? Labor Day, September 3, 2018 – The race begins at 8:00am. 10K participants will start and circle the 5K loop twice, and 5K runners and walkers will begin shortly after the 10K begins.
Where will it be? The 5K & 10K walk/run begins at Burlingame Intermediate School and ends at Franklin Elementary School, meandering through the beautiful tree-lined streets of Ray Park and the Easton Addition.

Anything else I should know? Yes! New this year – race for the coveted Burlingame Spirit Run Team Cup when you register and run the 5K as a corporate or community organization team! Find your “squad” of 5 or more today and sign-up! The top four times from each team will be recorded for the competition.
