Born and raised in the Bay Area, Tricia Tran knew exactly where she wanted to create her home when it came time to settle down. Having grown up in the Richmond district of San Francisco, she attended Lowell High School then kept it local by attending UC Berkeley. She moved abroad to Hong Kong and Singapore but eventually made her way back to the Bay Area and found Burlingame the perfect spot for herself, her husband Travis, and their daughter Kaylin.
Volunteering is an important part of Tricia’s life and giving back is part of who she is as a person. “I have personally benefited from a robust education so I like to continue to give back however I can,” she said. Additionally, having had a K-12 public education herself, Tricia knew what it would mean to volunteer for BCE. “I understand the impact and value of academic enrichment and teacher support and development,” she said. “We know that our schools are challenged on many levels, and I feel fortunate to be a part of BCE to help rise up to these challenges.”
In addition to being a busy mom of Kaylin, a sixth grader at BIS, Tricia works as a marketing professional and has worked in the US and Asia for multinational financial service companies like Credit Suisse, JP Morgan, and MUFG Union Bank.
In her downtime, Tricia enjoys camping, watching her daughter do martial arts and play soccer, and exploring new places, cultures and food.
Be sure to say hello to Tricia when you see her around town or on Zoom.
