Originally from San Diego, Dana Howells McFadden has enjoyed being a Burlingame resident for the past five years. After living in the East Bay, she and her husband Ben made the move to our town when they learned of the excellent reputation of Burlingame public schools.
The busy mom of two young kids, Addie in second grade and Sam a preschooler, decided to take on the all-important role of BCE site director after being impressed by her daughter’s kindergarten experience. “Addie had a wonderful experience in kindergarten, due to an excellent teacher and all of the enrichment activities and resources at her disposal,” Dana said. “I wanted to help ensure that kids at Lincoln and other schools in the district continue to have access to a great education.”
In her professional life, Dana works as an attorney at Genentech, specializing in healthcare/regulatory law.
When she’s not working (or watching Paw Patrol), she enjoys long walks and hikes, listening to podcasts, cooking, and reading.
Be sure to say hello to Dana when you see her around town or on Zoom!
