A Bay Area native, Aric Agresti has lived and worked in California his entire life. After living in San Francisco for a few years, he and his wife moved to Burlingame to split their commute and ultimately found it to be the perfect place to raise a family.
For more than a decade, Aric has fulfilled his passion for philanthropic work by providing his fundraising expertise to various organizations around the Bay Area. In addition to being BCE’s new VP of Business Development, Aric also sits on the board of Burlingame Girls Softball, Burlingame Recreation Center Project, and Junipero Serra High School. He also recently started a new job as the Chief Advancement Officer at Notre Dame de Namur University.
Volunteering in the community has become a family affair for the Agresti family with Aric’s wife Brooke serving as this year’s Lincoln PTA President. “We have a busy household, but it feels important to do our part in the community that we care so much about,” said Aric.
The busy dad of three young daughters, fourth grader Giuliana, third grader Adalyn and preschooler Josephine, says it didn’t take much for him to join the BCE Board of Directors. “Having school age children made my wife and I realize how critically important BCE is to our community,” said Aric. “BCE ensures that our children, as well as future generations, have the ability to receive a high quality public education. Without the support of BCE and our generous donors, our tremendous faculty and staff would be extremely limited in the educational experience for our students.”
When he’s not helping the community, the Sacramento State University alum enjoys coaching his kid’s sports teams, cooking, traveling, and playing golf.
Be sure to say hello to Aric when you see him around town or on Zoom!
