So why Burlingame?

We moved to Burlingame from San Francisco in October 2006.  We chose to move to Burlingame for the community, the schools, and the proximity to San Francisco.

Why did you become involved in BCE?

I became involved in BCE for many reasons. I see the value in a public education that sets the highest standards and expects the best out of our children. I want to make a difference in our community by doing something that will help to continuously improve the education of every student in the district.

What makes your school special?

The school community and the amazing teachers and principal. Our motto, “Be Kind, Be Safe, Do Your Best” really resonates throughout the school.

I’ll never forget the day my daughter came home from school and said that she was going to be Goldilocks in the Kindergarten musical. To see her grow in confidence and to have such an opportunity at school was just amazing to me.

What three words do your children use to describe you?

Kind, Silly, Tough Mama
