Introducing the BCE Office

The BCE Foundation has office space?  You betcha.  In fact, this will be the third year that BCE has operated out of a beautiful, productive space at 800 Airport Blvd in Burlingame. photo

What makes our office so particularly wonderful is that the space was donated by Mike Jarrett, a homegrown Roosevelt-BIS-BHS graduate who decided to raise his own family in Burlingame as well.  Both Mike and his wife Sherri are now Franklin parents and deeply involved in the BCE Foundation.  Mike is the BCE webmaster and Sherri is the current Franklin Read-a-thon Chair and you are likely to run into them at just about any school-related social function related to their 2nd-grade son and 1st-grade daughter.

Knock on the door of the BCE office and you’ll be likely to meet Mike Jarrett himself, running his company Quesgen Systems right down the hall.  His company provides data management services to academic researching institutions (like UCSF and Stanford) and focuses primarily on brain-related research (like Traumatic Brain Injury) like the project they’re doing for the NCAA that will baseline 7,500 college athletes from 12 of the leading sports schools…pretty interesting stuff!

Our new Director of Operations, Martin Jorgensen (McKinley dad) and our Administrative Assistant Felicia Ng (Washington mom) also operate out of this office.  And there is meeting space and available computers for BCE volunteers who can’t get the job done at a coffee house or the dining room table.   Ring up Felicia for availability and be sure to say thanks to Mike.
